DJ Infamous is from Lansing, Michigan, where he started DJing at the age of 12 years old. DJing and making mix tapes in his high school years, he became one of the top DJ's in the city. While being the youngest DJ in Lansing in 1998 at the age of 16, he started DJing live at 88.9 FM, a college radio station at Michigan State University. Two Saturdays a month, Infamous was a guest DJ from 10pm-Midnight.

In 2000 Infamous graduated high school and attended Alabama A&M University in Huntsville, AL. While going to school, he began DJing and throwing his own college parties. Soon after, DJ Infamous landed a job as Music Coordinator with the NBDL basketball team, the Huntsville Flight. In 2003 he landed an intership with V-103 in the programming department, which also helped him begin his radio career.

In 2003, his senior year, Infamous became a mixshow DJ and radio personality at a new station in Huntsville called Power 93.3. He did the 5o'clock rush hour mix Monday to Friday and his own show on Sundays.

After graduating from college in 2004, Infamous was employed as a producer at News & Talk Radio WAOK in Atlanta. Later on, he became a mixshow DJ for V-103, making him the youngest DJ mixing on-air in Atlanta.
