David and Vicki Chancellor-Atlanta and Dunwoody
Both David and Vicki Chancellor joined the McDonald’s franchise arena in May 2004. David and Vicki are the happy owners of three stores in the Atlanta and Dunwoody areas. The Chancellors are opening another store in February on Campbellton Road in Atlanta.
Hayes and Charlene Ferrell-Atlanta, Lithia Springs and Temple
Hayes and Charlene Ferrell are glad to be a part of the Greater Atlanta McDonald’s Operators Association. They own a store located on Thornton Road in Lithia Springs and recently opened a new McDonald’s in Temple.
Leon Goodrum-Atlanta
Leon Goodrum proudly owns seven stores throughout metro Atlanta including the McDonald’s at Hartsfield-Jackson Airport. Leon was one of the first franchisees to build a double drive-thru in the Atlanta region.
Sonny and Mary Holland-Jackson
Sonny and Mary Holland own and operate two stores in Jackson, Georgia. The stores are located on Third Street and Truck Stop Way.
Van Jakes-Atlanta and Lithonia
Van Jakes owns four stores in the Atlanta and Lithonia areas. He’s been in the franchise business for 16 years. Van remains very active in his community through his involvement in the 100 Black Men of Atlanta. He also serves as tournament director for McDonald’s Wheels of Dreams Youth Foundation. Van is a former NFL defensive back who played for the Kansas City Chiefs, New Orleans Saints and Green Bay Packers during the 1980’s.
Jackie Wynn-Atlanta and Norcross
Jackie Wynn is the proud owner of two McDonald’s stores. Her stores are located on Powers Ferry Road and Jimmy Carter Boulevard in Norcross.
John and Shiroleen Hurt-Atlanta
John Hurt began his career at McDonald’s as a crew member while attending Georgia College. After only six months, he was promoted to assistant manager. From there, his career at McDonald’s kept growing, and now he and his wife own 18 McDonald’s stores throughout the Atlanta metro area.John Hurt is President of the Wheels of Dreams Youth Foundation.
Bill and Sherida Rasul-Atlanta, College Park and Riverdale
Bill and Sherida Rasul own and operate three stores, one located on Cleveland Avenue in South Atlanta and the others on Old National Highway in College Park and Old National Highway in Riverdale. Bill began his career at McDonald’s in 1979 as a maintenance man in San Diego. He now serves as the McDonald’s regional operations manager.
Carrie and Calvin Salone-Decatur and Buckhead
Carrie and Calvin Salone own and operate two stores, one in Buckhead and the other in Decatur Square. Calvin stays active in his community through serving as an elder at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church.
John and Linda Melton-Atlanta and Norcross
John and Linda Melton are the proud owners of four stores in the Atlanta and Norcross areas. The Atlanta stores are located on Roswell Road and MLK Jr. Drive. In Norcross, their stores are on McDonough Boulevard and Buford Highway.
Floyd and Martine Sims-Atlanta and Mableton
Floyd and Martine Sims own and operate three McDonald’s stores located in Atlanta and Mableton. They’ve been in the franchise business since 1997. Floyd fulfills his civic duty through being a member on the Futlon County Chamber of Commerce. He serves as president of the Black McDonald’s Operator Association in the Atlanta Region. He’s also involved in the McDonald’s Wheels of Dreams Youth Foundation and The Gift program.
Allen and Eleanor Stafford-Atlanta and Sandy Springs
Allen and Eleanor Stafford currently own and operate four stores. Their stores are located on Roswell Road in Sandy Springs and on Peachtree Street, Moreland Avenue and Marietta Street in Atlanta.
Yvonne and Hank Thomas-Atlanta and Tucker
Since 1982, Yvonne and Hank Thomas have been in the franchise business. They are very involved in their community. Yvonne helps raise funds for the United Negro College Fund while her husband volunteers at the APEX museum. They own and operate stores on Ponce De Leon in Atlanta as well as on LaVista Road in Tucker.
