The enormity of Lupus is tremendous with over 55,000 Georgia patients. Lupus is 2-3 times more common in African Americans, (specifically, African-American women aged 15-40), Hispanics and Asians, a fact yet unexplained. Join team V-103 and the Georgia Chapter of the Lupus Foundation of America for the 2nd Annual Walk for Lupus on April 26th at 4pm! Walk with us to raise funds and awareness for this chronic, life long and life threatening disease. The Georgia Chapter serves thousands of patients annually and 90% of every dollar raised stays in Georgia to support thousands with educational information, physician referrals, resources, support groups and educational programs.
